By accessing or using the CHAMPSGY platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account on CHAMPSGY. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the eligibility requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify CHAMPSGY immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including any actions taken by third parties using your credentials.
All users must compete fairly and with sportsmanship. The following are strictly prohibited: cheating, exploiting bugs, using unauthorized third-party software, match-fixing, account sharing during competitions, impersonation, harassment, hate speech, and any form of toxic behaviour. Violations may result in temporary or permanent bans, forfeiture of prizes, and removal from leaderboards.
Tournament rules, formats, prize structure, and schedules are defined on a per-event basis and are subject to change. CHAMPSGY reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any tournament at its sole discretion. Tournament prizes are sponsored by CHAMPSGY and are contingent on compliance with all rules and verification of participant eligibility. Entry fees, where applicable, cover platform operational costs and are not pooled into prizes.
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to logos, graphics, text, and software, is the property of CHAMPS GUYANA or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written consent.
By submitting content to the Platform (including team names, profile information, and chat messages), you grant CHAMPSGY a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Platform. You retain ownership of your content but are responsible for ensuring it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
CHAMPSGY is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CHAMPS GUYANA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data, revenue, or profits.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, the Code of Conduct, or any applicable law. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Any outstanding sponsored prizes may be forfeited at our discretion.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Georgetown, Guyana.
